Soon there will be a new live record, which I recorded during my last concert in my favourite Pub, the rose of Northern Dortmund. On this CD you can find songs from all my albums, also the future ones. You can also listen to my fabulously strange talk and the GET WELL - SOng with which everybody sings along to cure my mother's cancer. Mum and I thank all of you!
La vérité nue
What you see here ist part of the songbook going along with my second record "la vérité nue". The picture was taken by Jim Rakete, when I met him in Berlin. You can also see the cover in the box on the left (it's the red one). I recorded this CD without any overdubs or other electronical support. It is not the studio-atmosphere and the perfection, which you usually hear on records. It's just me with a voice, a guitar and a pocketrecorder. I have written and composed the songs on it, when I felt it was time to write a song. They were just the way I wanted them to be, the first time i sang them. That's why I never corrected my language. Why act as if I spoke perfect french? Noone would believe me anyway.
To give you not only an audible impression of my songs I will now present some of the lyrics and what they mean to me. I hope they mean something different to you and I will be able to help you think about things.

My songs
AH-AH This song is about truth and being naked. It's about why people fear and love both at the same time. While doing a video-shoot for the naked people project, I added a few lines in english.
LION I like lions. And sometimes - often - I feel like being one. It's not only a metaphore to me, but maybe to you. You can interprete it in a way that suits your feelings while listening.
SI BELLE A very personal story, which I won't give away on a website. Ask me in person, if you really want to know.
Moi, les chansons and those songs
I did this record when I was sixteen. You can also find one of the very first songs I ever wrote on it. This was recorded two or three years earlier. You can see the cover on the left. It is the white one with my face on. I still sell it at my concerts. There are only a few songs in french on it and it was recorded in the studio. So it's different from "nue".
On "moi" you can find different cover-versions of songs I like and also a remix, which was made by d-mole. Nowadays I only do more or less ironic interpretations of pop-songs live at my concerts, which is always a lot fun for me and my listeners.
