A few years already, I've been on the road on my own. I tasted freedom and independence. And now it's time for friends! Friends with guitar, banjo, mandolin, upright bass and dobro. Lená and the Mad Ties, is the name of the project as soon as you visit the world premiere in Berlin, CMM. During the last few months I was forced to think less about music and concerts, but more about final exams. Now, since this is done, I am making plans...
So I hope that soon these two sentences will be replaced by the dates for my next concerts!
Naked people everywhere!
I got interested in the naked people project. With my conception of "naked" music, I think we both fit together perfectly. In terms of my music, naked means: true feelings, not perfect, but real. Something you can relate to easily.
And to me, this is what naked-people means as well. In a society, in which everybody has to be young and beautiful, efficient and fast, where is the place for the real people? We do not want to sell beautiful bodies or perfect music. We want to show what's real. And beautiful.
That's why I did this music-video together with the photographer and creator of naked-people Sebastian Kempa.
New DVD Narrenschiff
This is a little song from my concert at a small theatre called "Narrenschiff". Check the la musique-section, if you are interested in watching the whole DVD. I am also working on Bonus-Material, including Stills and a recording from my first concert at the "Narrenschiff". It's the best theatre!
Writing songs
School never inspired me much. But now I am starting a voluntary year of social services in culture. I hope that this will be inspiring and I already start writing more and more while thinking and planning. Maybe soon you will be able to buy a t-shirt with my face on it!
